We finished up our Phoenix trip with hike up the south side of South Mountain and back. Starting at the
warpaint trail head. We took the desert classic around to Corona de Loma and
headed up the mountain. That's where the wolf pack took off. Beau and Kimber ventured over the peak and down into a
valley before heading back up to the National trail head for a few
hundred yards, then head right onto Old Man's trail and back down the
mountain to Secret Trail, then back onto Desert Classic.
