I've been busy cleaning up hives and frames. Gearing up for next spring.
A farewell meal of old cranberries and apples was to much to resist.
Time for a little ride in the car.
And a great new home.
I fished the lower end of Big mill, with no luck.
But I hit the jackpot when I stopped in the valley on the way home to visit with Jace we dove into a Toppling Goliath Tsunami Pale Ale. We enjoyed the brew and told stories about the fish we didn't catch.

With just five days to go in 2016 I took advantage of the warm temperatures and open water.
With the sun in my eyes it was tough to get this shot of a big foot along the stream. It appears he took his fishing pole out for a walk too.
I hadn't fished this stretch of stream for several years but there are still a few good holes that can hold a trout or two.
I was one for two. :)

There's still a touch of green in the timber.
Another load of wood before the snow flies.
Time to celebrate the season with hot coco and grand marnier
Canadian Pacific Holiday Train rolling into Bellevue.
The big guy.
From the prairies of Saskatchewan to Bellevue, Iowa, The Colin James Band.
I've never been a big fan of young white boys with crew cuts singing the blues
