Spring Work and Play

Not the lovely Easter weekend we had hoped for but we bundled up and got some spring things done.

Like getting sculptures out along the lane.  Hop in!

After a trip to DBQ for Easter Brunch at Convivium with John and Heather

 and a trip to save Big money.

We ended up with a new two wheeled wheelbarrow.  

Susie for the win.

White Negroni's and a fruit salad.

 

SUNDAY- - LET'S GET OUT AND GET IT DONE!

Things have dried up and the space is prepped.

Off to the brickyard.  It's nice to have the supplies on hand when you need them.

Jerry supervised as I layed down the railroad tie and the first course of bricks.

This will be a big improvement over the broken up flagstone.

April - Things Can Change Quickly

Friday was sunny and 55*

 After about 50 days We harvested our lettuce that Miranda had planted. Most kids tried a leaf or two and several took a head home.

Daisies and marigolds are in bloom but the old rosemary took a real hit last winter. 

I saw a few deer on the back roads on the way home

And pulled the last bags from the sugarbush.

Saturday was a different story.  With 4" of heavy wet snow.

• But that didn't keep these two from getting out and getting some grit.
• I can't wait to see what next week will bring.
