STRANGER THINGS

That moment when you realize that you"re the only kids who dressed up for Halloween.

Well, that's exactly how we felt walking in to see Rad at 7 Hills last night.
After a quick retreat to the  townhouse where we changed out of our wiggs it was back to the brewery.
Susie went with the Day of the Dead look in a beautiful dress and headdress.
While me on the other hand .... who the F*##  knows.  Maybe Old Yellow Hair.  General Custer.
 For a few taps
 Fun with friends.
 And laughs!

We're still looking forward to the day when we can stay the night in DBQ at the townhouse.
Next week?????????
I told you to get that shit off the counter.

BRIDGE HOPPIN.

I had high hopes for getting out on the water and a doing a float on Friday and catching some smallies.
But the weather didn't cooperate.  So, Jace and I took to the road and hit some bridges in the North West end of the county. Most of the bridges had a pretty good population of  cliff swallows.
The stream conditions were a little cloudy but we gave it our best shot, with no luck.
It was a good morning with friends.

THOMAS BUOYANT

I hit brush after school today and it wasn't long before I hung up my beatle spin up in a tree across the stream.
So' I busted out this Thomas Buoyant that was in Kendo's old tackle box.  These lures were first made in the late 30's .   Kendo had several in the box and from what I understand they're a classic trout and salmon fishing lure from back in the day.  I can imaging Kendo hitting the streams around Sheboygan with one of these.  So what the hell,   I gave it a try.
It wasn't long before I had a strike and a miss followed directly by a good hit by this little rainbow.

One and done on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon.  Thanks Kendo.
