PSEUDO SUE

Friday Fun Day!  We drove up the Wisconsin side through La Cross on our way to Decorah this morning.
We stopped to check out the arch along Trout Run trail.
Trout Run trail makes an11 mile loop that takes you literally thru the farm fields, past a trout stream, past the famous Decorah Eagle's Nest and the Fish hatchery and thru the flats of Downtown Decorah
We stopped at the Seed Savers Exchange,Visitor Center and browsed through the building where there is an extensive number of heritage seeds.  I loved the post and beam construction and Susie loaded up on seeds for this years garden.
Joel the coral director at school, grew up in the area recommended T-Bock's Sports Bar for a bite to eat. We had a great burger,  deep fried cheese curds from Waukon  and watch the Big Ten ball tournament.
Back in Dubuque we checked out Mike and Leslie's new project The Convivium.
We're really looking forward to checking in on the progress and the new coffee shop.
Of course we hit the Tap House for a couple beers.  Susie had Double Dry Hopped Pseudo Sue and I had a King Sue.  Note to Self:  Drink at the tap house but buy any to go beers down the road at the Co-op in order to avoid the $3.00 per four pack mark up.
