  1. I'd be willing to bet the frog's name is Rosemary. Last night Prudence hung tight behing the leaf while a big crow was eyeing her from the roof.

  2. Nope, that's Stew... at least if he hangs in the hot tub too long. He's an eastern gray treefrog. They can change from a bright green to gray (almost brown) in seconds. Unlike most Cope's gray treefrogs, eastern gray treefrogs often have a pattern on their back and these markings are usually bordered by black. The belly is white and usually unmarked. The throat may be dark in males. The insides of the thighs and legs are washed with bright orange or yellow. They have relatively rough skin compared to Cope's gray treefrogs and large toe pads. send me pics of your little herp.
