Lucky.

It's been difficult to post much of anything these days.  Major Iphone issues.

But I've been lucky enough to get out on the stream for a bit this week.  With cool weather, light rain and just cloudy enough to sneak up on some trout.

I caught several that were in the 14"-17" range.

I'm still trying to figure out how to take a good selfie when holding a trout.

Practice makes perfect

I caught this old bruser a few weeks ago and let it go.  It looks like she's been through a lot.  

A big heron poke to the side and from the looks of the tail a battle with an otter.

I got this pic from my buddy the other day. He caught her in another pool.

We've named here lucky.  I'm happy to say that she's back in the stream, at least for now.
