We were invited to Celebrate Mary's birthday

With some of our favorite folks from Iowa's west coast

And catch an awesome show at the Englert

Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass

Then friday evening it was off to steeple square for the open air painters

A BIKE RIDE WITH THE BIRTHDAY GIRL!

A trip down to blocktoberfest to see how it's done.

and a middle eastern middle meal with dancing by a group from Milwaukee at the Convivium.

Now for the bike ride

Our ride got an early start

We hit the river front to check things out  

The boats,

the sculptures,

And we explored some cool new areas on the south side

Back down to bellevue to relax by a cozy fire and wrap things up

And yes... Fall is awesome

And so is SUSIE
