Maquoketa reported 11" of snow last night so once I got the drive cleared Jace showed up and did the lane.
We got geared up and took off on the skis to do a loop. It wasn't long before Jace blew out not one but two ski shoes
So after switching out skis we hit the trails
Maxine and Ace led the way
At least two months before we make it back down to the sugar bush to tap.
Jace is back a bit
But he did manage to catch up when I went down.
Getting up was the hard part.
