Whispering Meadows

 Wednesday, Mart and I went down to Whispering Meadows to check on Joans painting project and we just happened to have the fishing poles along. 

 We caught plenty of little Blue Gills and then Mart hooked into this Kitty Cat.

 It was a good fight on a little ultra lite rig

 Big fish, little hook, No Bears!

Second day back at school.

28 YEAR CELEBRATION IN MADISON

 We were all over the city

 The terrace at the student union. 

 The lakes

 On campus.

 We hit the arboretum 

and back

 State street by day

 Dining at Mickey's, Sujeo, Grazes and the Old Fashion

and State Street by night.

School Starts in a Week.

 So what do you do when you've missed a trout because your fumbling for your camera and the next fish you hook takes a deep dive under a rock?   You hop right in and move the rock.

CONSTRUCTION

 Friday night we put a skirt on the yurt platform.

 Josh was smoking ribs but the bucket needed more ventilation.

 Saturday afternoon we got the center post up.

 The lattes and the rafters went up quickly.

And call it a night.

 Cut and install windows then muslin sides and roof.

 Same plan with insulation

Susie and I setup the staves. 

A cicada killer with it's victim was the first in the tub.

Now, its time to tighten the stainless steel rings.
