Sioux City FYRE Fest!

Susie and I jetted off to the West Coast of Iowa for what we believed to be a fun packed weekend 

 

 We arrived early with other festival goers after checking into our accommodations

which were not mildew infested fema tents.

While other festivale goers enjoyed libations and stories from the host

Susie and I enjoyed some delicious snacks

As night fell the crowd prepared for what was to come

Torches were lit

And the show began

Flames filled the darkness

We enjoyed an unexpected treat of great people, fine food and conversation.

August Art and Music with my Honey

I harvested quit a bit of honey

And went to the Irish Hooley with my honey.

we checked out a few bands....Thanks whimp.

Susie and Nazoni worked on a mosaic

I caught Yonder Mountain String Band at Codfish with Mart and Jimmy

We finished up the month at our friend Sandy's art show

and I got to see my former student, Addie.

We took advantage of the high water and went up mill creek to Felderman park
