Linda, Patti and I ran some errands to prep for Friday nights meeting with the bank.

Then much to my surprise my Beau showed. up at camp 

With his fishing pole.

It wasn't long before he caught several rainbow trout

DATE LINE: The Calm Before the Storm - Solo Camp

Believe it or not, this was my first solo camp. 

It was great to kick back and work on puzzles

Camp is made and I've got the area all to myself

time to grab the fly rod and catch a trout

I've got four nice fishing holes all to myself

pretty peaceful

Pheasant for supper.  You know why I use this pan?  It's important to have a square meal each and every day

I haven't seen hide nor hair of my neighbors and their dogs.

Welp, I made it through the night with no date line worthy incidents 

Breakfast dishes are done and it's time for some early morning fishing

I've got a truck load of projects:

Build a compost bin.

Put up a sign post

&

Six barrels of wood mulch

Then down to elk creek to wet a line

Oooh yeh

I hit the timber to look for some shrooms

Here's a white trillium 

Some  madenhair ferns   

I found the perfect camp for Bo....in a cave up in the hills.
